I joined Gungahlin Veterinary Hospital in February 2010. I am originally from the French side of Canada but moved to Australia in 2005 after living several years in the United States. I have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and have further acquired the Veterinary Nurse Accreditation (VNA) through the Veterinary Nurse Council of Australia and the Australian Veterinary Association.
In addition to my veterinary nursing qualifications, I obtained a Certificate IV in Domestic Animal Services (Behaviour Training), and have years of experience helping pet owners and shelter dogs with a variety of training and behaviour issues. Currently I am enrolled as a long-distance student in an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology at the School of Veterinary Medicine of Purdue University (Indiana, USA), aiming to graduate in 2015. My favourite areas of practice are clinical pathology, dentistry and critical care.
I am happily married to a Collingwood fan, and I own a beautiful sable-coloured sheltie called Tilly and a ragdoll cat called Tosca. My hobbies include grooming shelties and collies, downhill skiing, running, traveling and listening to opera.
