I joined Gungahlin Veterinary Hospital in July 2011 as Specialist Surgeon Dr Sarah Webb’s nurse, and am thoroughly enjoying the ‘surgical’ experience.
I have been nursing since 1997, and gained my qualification in 2000. In 2008 I became an ‘Accredited Veterinary Nurse’ through the Veterinary Nurse council of Australia. I am about to embark on my diploma in Surgical Nursing.
I have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge working in general and emergency practices, and am learning lots of exciting new things working here.
Outside of work I breed, train and show my lovely Labrador retrievers, and enjoy looking after my small farm with my husband.
